New Bus For London/Borismaster LT2 (LT61 BHT) 16/03/12

On Friday 16th March, I decided to go after school to go and see LT2 for myself, so after a journey on London Overground to Hackney Central, I got on the NB4L at Hackney Central Station/Graham Road. I took some pictures and some videos, including some of the cab:

At Victoria, the driver and conductor allowed me to enter the cab for photos, and thanks for the kind crew on LT2 that day!

The only aim for that trip was to get the NB4L, which I did, and then some... Other observations will be on a new post.

South Kensington/Richmond Trip 14/03/12

I had a school trip to South Kensington, and I decided to take my camera. These are the observations, whilst I had lunch at Kensington Gardens:

London United/RATP SP147 (YP59 OEF) on Route 10. 

 London United/RATP VLE16 (PG04 WHV) on Route 9. The blind is correctly set at this position as the upper via point is 'Piccadilly Circus', which the route does not serve anymore.

 First London RM1913 (ALD 913B) on Route 9H

First London SRM3 on Route 9H. This completely caught me off-guard and as I still cannot run, I missed the opportunity to photograph the front of the bus and I only just got this picture of it.

Afterwards, I went to the museums, so the only observation I got there was:

After a trip on the London Underground to Victoria (with the aim of getting a picture of the NB4L), a Southern train to Clapham and 3 SWT services to Richmond via Brentford and Feltham (because of meeting a friend), I finally got some bus observations at Richmond:

Afterwards, I called it a day. There was no particular aim of this trip apart from getting more pictures for the blog. This was done. But, one aim that wasn't fulfilled due to timings by teachers, and that was to get the NB4L Borismaster at Victoria. This later occured on the Friday, which is the next post.

Transdev London United VP121 (W468 BCW) on route H32 taken 31/08/2008

London United brought the VPs (as well as some VAs) for Routes 111, 120 and H32 and they worked at Hounslow Garage. The VP was until a few years ago was only on those routes, but a few years ago, Route 81 was double decked and H32 got new buses. Then 111 got new buses in 2010, which meant these buses were moved to just Route 81, 120 and 222. They are now getting new buses in Enviro 400s. This picture was taken near Covent Way Estate. Now, these buses are not on any Hounslow routes, except for a small few.
