Has anyone actually seen the VWs that are supposed to go the 52?
The new type of bus now allocated to the 52 are Wright Gemini 2s and as of the 11/3/13, the route is still operated by some VP/VPLs. I had an opportunity to roam that day (the reason will be withheld) and managed to land a few odd sights. First the 52s:
Metroline VW1395 (LK62 DVC) on Route 52 at the Royal Albert Hall |
The rear of VW1395 |
Metroline VW1400 heading to Victoria |
And then, strange workings on the 295:
First DN33777 (SN12 AVT) on Route 295 at Charing Cross Hospital |
First DN33778 (SN12 AVU) on Route 295 at Hammersmith Bus Station |
First DN33777 (SN12 AVT) on Route 295 at Hammersmith Bus Station |
Not strictly related to buses but more like
a PR stunt for myself an idea,
what if London Buses decided to use LED Displays on their buses?
Red color buses looks really attractive. This bus shows route number also.Like we can see in the poster above Route 295 at Hammersmith Bus Station.
