Route 27 New Buses 26/01/13, 27/01/13

Route 27 has finally gotten its ADHs - the Enviro 400H. Again, I covered this by myself, and this time, it was quite easy to cover this. Started at Hammersmith and ended at Turnham Green, via Chiswick Business Park:

Again, these buses have that distinguished new bus smell, which was very strong. And no, this is not me sniffing buses.

Temporary Bus Route 518 26/01/13

No James with me today, due to other circumstances. So, for the first time in some time, I covered something, alone. And its the Greyhound Lane bit near Streatham Common Station is only replaced by a bus route now, in the form of Route 518.
Firstly, a video of the whole route towards Streatham:

This is the bridge works that mean 518 and 560 exist. They seem to be numbered from the 60 (560) and 118 (518).

The bus route seems to be very, very short and slightly pointless, but there are people that use it, and it's quicker than walking (and free), which makes it slightly useful if going to Streatham Common Station or live on the Streatham side of the bridge.

Go-Ahead London General EH4 on Route 24, Pimlico, 25/07/09

This was the start of many Enviro 400H buses in London. Initially  London General got five of these buses. 15 more has now entered service at Go-Ahead London Central for Route 436, bringing the fleet to EH20.

Route 24 is now back to Metroline, as I've covered previously. Metroline has countless amounts of E400Hs now, mostly at Cricklewood. According to LVF, this bus was last seen early December 2012 on the 333 (at time of posting). 

I personally like the E400H, although the sudden movement by them does catch me out quite a bit, especially due to my well known weak knee. I like these buses though, and hopefully, my favourite routes will get some of these. If anyone asks - these are 111 and N9. I'd prefer this (or the MCV DD103) over an SP any day. 

Even in all the novels and the joint story concept, my fictional transport group bus company L1/Group Buses (L1/Group Buses East and L1/Heathrow Buses) has the Enviro 400H as the standard double decker for the whole fleet. LU 150 (Steam on the Met) 20/01/13

Immediately after I posted the previous post, I immediately left to cover with James the LU 150th Railtour, headed/tailed by Sarah Siddons and Met 1. Annoyingly, a very, very slow driver on Metroline's 237 meant I almost missed it at Kensington Olympia. Almost. After just getting a 49 to Kensington Olympia, here is the only good shot I got:

I then went to Euston Square, ahead of it, whilst James caught it leaving Moorgate. I didn't know this at the time, which lead to a bit of a situation:
