Routes 67/106 20/04/13, 28/04/13

On the 27/04/13, Arriva gained the 67 and 106 off Go-Ahead and Stagecoach respectively.  106 got new DWs, whilst 67 have existing DWs and HVs from Stamford Hill and Tottenham garages.

Firstly, we start with the previous buses.

Route 106:

Stagecoach operated it with Scania Omnicities which were, to be truthful, quite hard.

Route 67:
This was operated by Go-Ahead with PVN and PDN. All, including route and garage (NP) was ex-First, and was recently acquired by Go-Ahead as the start of the sale of London operations by First:

Route 126 and 138 New Buses 05/04/13

Initially, the 126 was to be covered by James. Clearly, he has dumped the blog, so I had to cover it instead. Luckily, it was part of one long day outing, so I, in course, covered the 126. Ironically, I covered it in case James left. He did. And I'm doing the post. So here we are, at Bromley again.

This is the first bus I've seen with white on black blinds that isn't historical, or an LT, and harking to the past. And it doesn't look that bad on photos. With fading of the yellow/black blinds, we'd be seeing this... But this is probably a new set of blinds, as I've seen one like this on the 386 in the same day. They all seem to be from Plumstead Garage.

Routes 65, E3 Diversions 05/04/13-10/04/13

This is one of the many posts in the backlog, only being published now, due to various reasons...

During Easter Break, the routes 65 and E3 were on diversion. This meant when I was going to school, I could make observations of 65 and E3 on diversion. N11 was also on diversion, but due to me being quite lazy, I never got a photo of N11.

Workings on Routes 95, 148 10/04/13

Due to what has happened previously, I will have to clear a massive backlog. We are planning something for a future post in the not too distant future, so here is a post:

An unallocated working for the 148 includes ADHs. They aren't exactly normal, but they can be used. Even in a BBC film, an ADH on the 148 is featured.

Something a bit more "unallocated" are the TNs on the 95* (TN means Trident/Northern Counties, if anyone is interested...). It even arrived with a flourish of being "temporary". The makeshift blinds, probably ex-DML completes the scene. Rear and side blinds are blank/First.

The 95 has no bus stand due to roadworks, but there is massive traffic, so the stand is negated. I wonder why Greenford suddenly put on two TNs on the 95 (I didn't catch the second one) recently. Bus shortages?
