Route 24 NBfL Conversion: One Week, Two Days On

An operational mess is the answer. THIRTEEN buses on stand at Hampstead Heath at once, standing on one side of a road for the bus stop saying "This is not a bus stand". Well, what can you do? Nothing much, to be honest!

Note: oddities in the fleet - LT33 has new hybrid logos, LT9 has no Metroline logos.

And LT9, my bus is curtailed to, guess where....
Yes, there again.

I got off the bus at Camden Town to go to Barnet for SDO observation.

  1. 13 Borisbuses on stand at once is ridiculous. Just hope Boris is sacked this time in 2016.

    1. he wont be standing...

I imagine how you put up with 600 of these fantastic buses on nearly 20 routes. :D

the best thing about the bus is the open platform which gives you freedom to enter and leave the bus between stops. With the normal buses, you end up pressing the door open button above the door to exit the bus anytime.

The NBFL is the bus for the new generation! The ones who oppose the NBFL is anti open platform and anti freedom because they deny peoples right to leave the bus while the bus is stationary between stops!

    2. Unfortunately, the rear entrance on these buses is closed most of the time, preventing people getting on and off as they please.

    3. It's just simple, press the magical green button above the door and freedom you go.
