Brentford Festival, Route 65X & Central Line Replacement 01/09/13

This post (and a few others) are a month late due to my workload, and complicated issues. Anyway...

Firstly, I decided to follow up on something I found on a local website about Chiswick about Routemasters in Brentford. They used the old 237 number (657) for a shuttle around Brentford and Hanwell for the Brentford Festival.

I rode it to Hanwell:

I then went to Ealing Broadway to cover the 65X and the Central Line Replacement:

And finally...

Weirdly, at the time, there was a diversion away from Shepherd's Bush Road that just started, as I saw whilst I was waiting for a 94. There didn't seem to be a problem at the time from what I saw, thus it could've been an accident. It went via 94/237 and 266 to Hammersmith.

  1. Why have the new ELVs' in Sullivan's fleet not been refurbished yet?

    1. That I don't know, but I think Sullivan don't feel the need to refurbish them just yet, as they had just been refurbish recently (most of them)

  2. But it says on the WLBB that they would be refurbished before they went into service. Also, I'd assume they'd have to be refurbished anyway as it is a new contract.
