This post (and a few others) are a month late due to my workload, and complicated issues. Anyway...
Firstly, I decided to follow up on something I found on a local website about Chiswick about Routemasters in Brentford. They used the old 237 number (657) for a shuttle around Brentford and Hanwell for the Brentford Festival.
657 Route Roads
Timetable of 657
Red Routemaster RML2683 on Route 657, Brentford High Street

I rode it to Hanwell:
Red Routemaster RML2683 on Route 657, Hanwell Broadway
Red Routemaster RML2683 on Route 657, Hanwell Broadway
I then went to Ealing Broadway to cover the 65X and the Central Line Replacement:
Sullivan ELV8 on Rail Replacement Central Line, Ealing Broadway
Metroline West VW1817 on Route 427, Ealing Broadway
One of the last buses to still have First logos in Metroline West (former First Centrewest).
Rail Replacement Route A Map which goes to...:
Yeah.
Sullivan TN1 on Central Line Replacement, Ealing Broadway
Sullivan ELV4 on Central Line Replacement, Ealing Broadway
Sullivan ALX5 on Central Line Replacement, Ealing Broadway
I then went on the 65X:
London United TA222 on Route 65X, Ealing Broadway
I returned to Ealing Broadway:
Abellio 8590 on Route 112, Ealing Broadway
Sullivan TPL926, Central Line Replacement, Ealing Broadway
London United TA211 on Route 65X, Ealing Broadway
Metroline West DE1648 on Route 226, Ealing Broadway
Sullivan TPL927 on Central Line Rail Replacement, Ealing Broadway
Sullivan ELV3 on Central Line Rail Replacement, Ealing Broadway
Metroline DM970 (E8), VW1192 (297), Ealing Broadway
London United TA209 on Route 65X, Ealing Broadway
I then (weirdly) decided to go to White City to cover more Rail Replacement:
Sullivan PDL26 on Central Line Rail Replacement, Ealing Broadway
Sullivan ALX6 on Central Line Rail Replacement, White City
Arriva Shires 3952 on Central Line Rail Replacement, White City
Arriva Shires 3867 on Central Line Rail Replacement, White City
Arriva Shires 3880 on Central Line Replacement, White City
Sullivan ELV5 on Rail Replacement, Shepherd's Bush
And finally...
London United OV62 on Route 283*, Goldhawk Road
Weirdly, at the time, there was a diversion away from Shepherd's Bush Road that just started, as I saw whilst I was waiting for a 94. There didn't seem to be a problem at the time from what I saw, thus it could've been an accident. It went via 94/237 and 266 to Hammersmith.
Why have the new ELVs' in Sullivan's fleet not been refurbished yet?
ReplyDeleteThat I don't know, but I think Sullivan don't feel the need to refurbish them just yet, as they had just been refurbish recently (most of them)
DeleteBut it says on the WLBB that they would be refurbished before they went into service. Also, I'd assume they'd have to be refurbished anyway as it is a new contract.
