First London VNZ32332 on Route 92, Ealing Hospital (Southall), 30/05/11
These VNZs were delivered initially for the 258 and other routes at Alperton, including 92. Eventually it found it's way to Greenford when the 195 moved to Hayes Garage, when this bus was taken at Ealing Hospital, before the newer DNs (E40D) came for the 92 in 2012. Thus this bus, although repainted and refreshed, moved to the West of England for their operations, and now wears the new corporate livery, rolling around Bristol with only one door. It left London by January 2013 and runs from Hengrove Depot.
Route 92 runs from "St Raphael's North", Brent Park IKEA, to Ealing Hospital in Southall. First had operated the route since tendering began, albeit firstly with London Bus Lines until First bought them. Since First withdrew from West London on the 22nd June 2013, it is now run by Metroline West with DNs. Previously, the 92 only ran to St Raphael's on Monday to Saturday except evenings, running to Brent Park Tesco at other times, but was extended fully in 1998. However, for some weird reason, some spider maps of TfL think that the 92 terminates at Brent Park yet the blinds say otherwise! Odd...
