London United TA203 on Route 120, Hounslow Bell Corner, 01/09/2008

This was one of a small batch of Dennis Trident/ALX400 buses to be used in Hounslow Garage for Route 111, 120, H32. They soon were retained by Transdev to be moved to Yellow Buses at Bournemouth*. They were a niche at AV until 2003, when more Dennis Tridents, again a small batch, arrived for the 111. The TA201-203 were soon repainted and refreshed by 2007, but were withdrawn by 2011. A London lifespan of just under 11 years, quite a feat nowadays as buses as young as 9 years old are now being withdrawn, yet some V reg buses still remain. S801 BWC is a notable exception as it is in semi-preservation. I always looked forward to getting on one of these (as well as the 03-reg TAs) when I was at primary school as they were different than the Volvo B7TLs and slightly rarer.

Route 120 is a route I hate, but meh, it could be worse (as seen)!
The TA/VA/VPs on the route were swiped by SPs (which suit the route, especially SP1-15), and ADEs (which don't, they suit the 111 better!)
