My Picture Post Archive 12A

It's been a year since James joined the blog and over a year since I met him, and therefore, a picture archive post should be in store, as the event is, well, historical! He is was part of the blog until he quit because of me.

Anyhow - the picture:

First London WM47400 on Route 228, White City
First Centrewest WM47400 on Route 228*, White City*, 01/12/12

This was a trial by (then) First Centrewest of a door forward Wright Streetlite. They run regularly in London by Go-Ahead London and staff shuttles around Brentford. It ran from most single decker routes at WJ (Willesden Junction) Garage. However, it hasn't been in service recently and has been withdrawn from London service. It has a Northern Irish registeration and is the only bus of that kind in First London (at the time). 228 is also James' local route, introduced in 2008 for the new Westfield development over White City exhibition area and White City LU Depot. It has grown to be successful and unreliable at the same time. Running from Central Middlesex Hospital to Maida Hill, The Chippenham, it has opened new links and runs through White City Estate* at the same time, thus it gets diverted when the local football team in the estate play there. Small club....

This picture was taken where I was with James, and we were on our way to Romford for some observations, and to clear heads.
